Well, you switch of comments notification for a few days, and find that there’s a mini-movement happening on one of your posts.
Firstly, thanks a lot guys (and especially you, CK) - it means a lot.
But I wasn’t planning on shutting things down here. Because it’s so crazy teaching here, I’ll just be cutting down the posting just for a bit. It’ll take a lot more than that to shut this baby down! And the first minute I get to blog about a des-related offbeat story, it’s going up here. That’s a promise!

He caves. And we are the better for it. Now listen, no one’s expecting you to spend hours posting all sorts of analysis on the state of the world. Just give us something once a week so we can feel full and round-bellied (like you) with the knowledge that the world, as we know it, is still being deconstructed by your acerbic tongue.

I recently stumbled on your blog and have been enjoying it immensely. That said, it has proven to be a huge distraction for me. I spend much more time here than on the blog I should be reading. Perhaps for the sake of my econ grade you should just can this site altogether.
Btw, there is an alternative. You could free up more time and save yourself a lot of hassle by giving all of your students A’s…
