well – he’s a desi politician. he’s useless by default!

nilekani was good, but i think that these things have to go via the right democratic channels. although, i wish they’d go faster as well.

I thought Pranab Mukherjee was pretty useless, and frankly quite disgusting. All he really did was kiss ass of the Gandhi family.

Nilekani was good… although i wish he thought that building India’s infrastructure should be high on the list, and not something that is going well…

i did see nilekani. actually, i thought i had written about it, but it looks like that para got wiped off somehow (probably my over-sensitive touchpad – which is now disabled). i put the para back in…

it’s definitely refreshing to see a desi businessman being so optimistic (it’s been a while since i went home). hopefully, things will change. but, i see his point about democracy taking time, and all that. also, i love the way he keeps hawking globalization, outsourcing and india as the best place for both. of course, i’d do the same in his position.

This was good – did you watch the Nandan Nilekani (Infosys) interview right after this one? Interesting conversations towards the end about infrastructure .
