Sometimes, when it’s really, really late at night here, it’s day time in India. And that’s when I don my costume, zip across the Pacific, then South East Asia, and finally get to India, where I kill vicious crime lords in my spare time. But not to worry, I’m back before the night has ended, and no one suspects a thing. Not a soul.
And every once in a while, just once in a while and no more, I allow myself to be feted. After all, it is the proletariat’s right to worship The Great Ganesha. I am still in costume, and nobody knows my identity, but they celebrate me just the same…

All together now: Ganpati Bappa Morya! Pudcha Varshi Lawkar Ya!
(Translation: All hail The Great Ganesha (a.k.a. Spiderman)! Come back soon, next year!)
