In this holiday season, it is with great pleasure that I discovered this wonderful video, uploaded by a devout Hindu, no doubt. It is a piece from a wonderfully Hindu BBC show called Goodness Gracious Me, with Sanjeev Bhaskar, Mira Syal, Kulvinder Ghir and Nina Wadia. All pious Hindus, I am sure.

No matter what your religion, I strongly suggest you block out something between a day and a day and a half and go to YouTube to watch the rest of this smorgasboard of Hindu videos. There is no better way to bring in the New Year than to get in touch with your Hindu roots. And no matter who you are or what religion you belong to, you have Hindu roots. It’s only a matter of time before you realize it…
