Our Rishis of the Upanishads and other vedic lore have not had even the slightest ego as far as copyright is concerned.They have not dared even write there names under their findings and discoveries.the legacy left by our rishis in all fields of knowlege has always been pioneering.They are given no respect by neo-intelligensia has never been the concern of our selfless Rishis.

i’m definitely no expert on this, but it’s obvious that history is always written by the victors and they will have the final word. indians are no strangers to this phenomenon. nonetheless, i do believe that things are changing somewhat – those who take a serious interest in this (indians and westerners) are aware of the truth.

very interesting. i see you are traversing the same path along the ecliptic that i discovered and reaching much the same conclusions. The eurocentrism is so blatant that Aryabhatta is not even mentioned in a recent history of ancient astronomy by an american author. for that matter neither is india.
